In order to encourage girls across the country to become involved with engineering and technolog, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) has launched Wow! That's Engineering!
What will happen at the Wow! That's Engineering! event?
SWE has selected activities for high school girls where they will have the opportunity to meet engineering students and professional women engineers and hear first-hand about these exciting career paths. Through interactive activities, panel discussions and presentations, girls will be able to experience the creativity and innovation that occurs in engineering.
How can I help?
Together, we have the opportunity to encourage girls across the country to become better informed on how engineering and technology improves our world. Volunteers are vital to our success. You don't have to be an engineer to participate. You have your choice on how you want to be involved, even if you only have a limited amount of time. We will supply materials and activity directions. All you have to do is bring your enthusiasm!
